We are deeply grateful to share that our interview with Jenny Oaks Baker is now live — released with her blessing.
What a sacred and uplifting experience this was.
Jenny’s testimony, her love of the Savior, and her dedication to using music as a missionary tool touched our students in a powerful way. Young people from around the world had the opportunity to ask her questions directly, and her answers were filled with light, faith, and clarity.
This conversation was meaningful not only for our global student audience, but for members of ALL faiths and especially for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints everywhere. Her witness of Jesus Christ and her reflections on consecrating our talents to the Lord are messages our youth desperately need.
We are especially grateful that this interview can now be shared broadly across the worldwide Latter-day Saint community and to followers of all religion in this 2026 lent season.
Young Citizens of the World now connects 1.55 million students across thousands of schools in dozens of countries. We are a teacher-led initiative, built entirely through faith, sacrifice, and personal investment over the past six years. Our mission is simple: to give young people direct access to voices of goodness, faith, excellence, and leadership.
Jenny’s voice — both musically and spiritually — is exactly that.
We invite you to watch, share with your families, youth groups, seminary classes, and friends, and help us spread messages of light in a world that needs it.
With gratitude to Jenny for her generosity and example.
