On September 24th at 8:00 AM Pacific / 11:00 AM Eastern, Young Citizens of the World hosted an exclusive live interview with Julian Lennon—acclaimed musician, photographer, author, filmmaker, humanitarian, and son of John Lennon.
Throughout his remarkable career, Julian released seven studio albums, authored best-selling children's books such as Touch the Earth and Heal the Earth, and earned international recognition for his award-winning photography exhibitions. Beyond the arts, he founded the White Feather Foundation, an organization dedicated to environmental protection, access to clean water, education, and the preservation of Indigenous cultures.
This student-led interview, hosted by Canadian broadcaster Geneviève Borne, connected Julian with our global network of 1.25 million students and teachers across 8,000 schools worldwide. Students asked thoughtful questions about his music, creative journey, humanitarian work, and how young people can make a meaningful difference for the planet.
