We were thrilled to welcome Maestro Andrea Bocelli, one of the greatest voices of our time, for a global student-led interview on Wednesday, September 3rd at 10:30 AM Eastern / 7:30 AM Pacific / 4:30 PM Italy (CEST).

It was a truly unique event:

🎤 For the first time in our interview series, we had two co-hosts — Canadian celebrity host Geneviève Borne (English) and Canadian Senator Tony Loffreda (Italian).

🌎 Students from Argentina, Canada, and Italy asked their questions, which had been pre-recorded to ensure a smooth flow.

🇮🇹 Maestro Bocelli answered in Italian, while a translator shared his responses in English.

🎬 We also highlighted his new film Andrea Bocelli: Because I Believe, which beautifully celebrated both the artist and the man.

The interview proved to be incredibly meaningful for the Young Citizens of the World movement, as Maestro Andrea Bocelli continued to share the world stage with fellow YCW interviewees EJAE and Audrey Nuna in the months that followed. Together, they appeared in the Netflix NFL Christmas Game Special, and Maestro Bocelli and EJAE also collaborated on DNA, the Official Anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a performance watched by hundreds of millions of people around the world. This remarkable connection between YCW interviewees underscored the global impact of the inspiring individuals who have chosen to engage with our students.

Nous avons eu l'immense plaisir d'accueillir le Maestro Andrea Bocelli, l'une des plus grandes voix de notre époque, lors d'une entrevue mondiale menée par des élèves le mercredi 3 septembre à 10 h 30 (heure de l'Est) / 7 h 30 (heure du Pacifique) / 16 h 30 (heure d'Italie – CEST).

Il s'agissait d'un événement véritablement unique :
